Triathlon Packing List
May 16, 2016Here are the 40 Things You Will Need To Pack for Your Triathlon Raceday

Swim
- Tri shorts or tri suit
- Swim cap (The race will probably give you one but better safe than sorry)
- Earplugs
- Goggles
- Wetsuit
- Cooking spray (for wetsuit robing and removal. I like coconut cooking spray)
- Flip Flops/Sandals (Protect your feet before the swim. Leave at the start)
- Bright towel (easy to spot for transition)

Bike
- Bike
- Helmet
- Cycling shoes
- Socks (optional)
- Sunglasses (If helmet doesn’t have shield)
- Water bottle
- Nutrition (only necessary if doing an olympic tri or greater)
- Tool Kit:
- Spare tube
- CO2 cartridge
- CO2 adapter/pump
- Levers, multi-tool
- Floor pump (Never no when you will need it)

Run
- Running shoes
- Extra Socks (Last pair will probably be wet)
- Race belt (This will save you minutes in transition if the race requires a printed number)
- Hat/visor
- Sunglasses
- Band-aids for feet

- Money
- USAT Card or Number
- Proof of race registration
- Drivers license
- Jacket or other cold weather gear
- Tracking device (Garmin, Moov, etc.)
- Heart rate strap
- Body Glide
- Sunscreen
- Post race clothing
- Gatorade or other recovery drink
- Banana, Pickles, Energy Bar or other recovery food
